Hi Ya'll!!
So the days are passing by here at a fast clip. This week there isn't anything really big to write about since it was report card week. Report card week means hours and hours of grading followed by hours and hours of report card writing. I could bore you will all the grim details... tell you about how many cups of instant coffee it took me to make it through, how many times the power went out when work desperately needed to be done, how many chocolate bars were eaten for motivation..i could go on but I won't. :)
This week we have parent teachers conferences. Which means over the course of three days, I will meet with every single one of my students' parents. Please, please be praying that these times will be amazing. That the parents and I will connect and that this may be a door into home visits, and friendships and deeper conversations.
The biggest thing coming up is our camping trip with the "Rash" people is in 7 days!! Our community had an amazing prayer meeting the other night in regards to this trip, and we are all starting to feel a Godly anticipation for this next week. This will be the first time the gospel is brought to this people group in their history, so please be praying as we are definitely entering into some dark and difficult territory. If you all also could please be praying for our final preparations, and for travel permits. Also please raise up the people we will be talking to, and that their hearts will be ready and willing to hear about the gospel.
In other news it is starting to be less hot here. "Less hot" means while it is still 100 + degrees each day, the mornings and nights will get as low as 85, instead of the normal 95...i know brrrr.
I hope all of you are well and doing well. I am so thankful for all of your support, and prayers, and love. Thank you for taking time out of your day and life to read this, please know that I truly do thank God for each and everyone of you.
