Just a quick hello to everyone out there. Things are going very well here. The heat has begun to pick up with most days being over 100 degrees now. My friends who have been here for a while have told me that it will get much worse( up to 125degrees). School is going well and I will be holding parent teacher conferences this week. So within 2 days I will meet with 20 parents and have a chance to interact with them and share with them the love and care of Jesus. I am excited!
I have started volunteering at an adult english language center our company has in the city. I go once a week and have discussion group with young adults who are learning english. This is an amazing venue for conversation and sharing of faith. We talk for about 1.5 -2 hours about different topics and I have the opportunity to build friendships and plant some amazing seeds. The past few weeks I have been going to the English center, I have begun to build a relationship with two particular and have really begun to enjoy their company. I am hoping that in the next few weeks these girls and myself can hangout some more and continue to grow our friendship. If you could pray that this new friendship continues to grow and deepen I would appreciate it!
The political situation here is currently tense but peaceful. All attempts at starting anything similar to what is happening in the rest of the region were quickly stopped and it seems to be life as usual. I hope all of you are well. I am so thankful to God for your support and love, thank you!

Hi, Sweetie! Hope you can cope with the heat! 125 degrees sounds a bit high to me. So glad you are enjoying the work with the students, at school and also at the English center. Do you come home at the end of the school year?
